A quaint turn of the century farm located in Upstate New York! Once a fruit farm, this beautiful property; with it’s nostalgic barns and peaceful setting; is now home to Ol’Factory Lavender & Herb Farm. Lavender was first planted in 2002 in a test garden. The idea was to see if lavender would grow well given our harsh winters and short summers. We soon found out that our proximity to the beautiful Lake Ontario offers a microclimate that has turned out to be very conducive to growing lavender. The Farm now grows a variety of lavenders used for crafting, (soapmaking of course), aromatherapy and culinary. Open April to December, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm
